The Turkish Energy, Nuclear and Mineral Research Agency (TENMAK) was established in 2020 under the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Türkiye by incorporating the Turkish Atomic Energy Authority, the National Boron Research Institute and the Rare Earth Elements Research Institute. The agency carries out activities in the fields of energy, minerals, ionising radiation, particle accelerators and nuclear technology.

With the mission of creating new products, improving existing ones and making them world-leading within its fields of activity in order to increase and sustain Türkiye's competitiveness, TENMAK cooperates with public bodies and private-law entities, conducts and commissions scientific research, and coordinates, encourages and supports such researches.
