Through its work in strategic fields such as energy, nuclear technology, minerals and particle physics, TENMAK is positioned not only as a national institution but also as a global solution partner and scientific stakeholder. Projects, agreements and technical co-operation which are carried out with leading scientific organisations such as the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), CERN, OECD/NEA and SESAME are the reflections of this vision respectively.

Under the Country Programme Framework signed with the IAEA for 2024–2029, TENMAK continues to bring international resources and partnerships to Türkiye’s scientific capacity. Viewing science diplomacy as a strategic instrument, the Agency aims to shape the energy solutions of the future together with the international scientific community.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has launched a call for Co-ordinated Research Projects in order to support research, development and practical applications within the context of the peaceful use of nuclear energy in Member States and to increase co-operation and information sharing for the solution of common challenges.
