INFORMATION SECURITY POLICY

Turkish Energy, Nuclear and Mineral Research Agency (TENMAK); by carrying out the research, innovation and technology-development activities required by Türkiye in the fields of energy, nuclear and mining technologies, by developing its capabilities and converting them into products and added value, aims to become a global R&D hub accordingly.

In line with its mission and vision and for the purpose of protecting all information assets held within the scope of its duties, powers and responsibilities in accordance with the principles of confidentiality, integrity and accessibility under the Information Security Management System, it is hereby COMMITTED by the Agency;

• To operate, continually review and improve the Information Security Management System,

• To identify risks to information assets, assess identified risks and manage them systematically,

• To ensure that information security activities are carried out within the framework of international legislation, contractual requirements and standards,

• To ensure that business processes are conducted in accordance with policies and procedures prepared and approved within the scope of the Information Security Management System,

• To ensure that systems, applications and software developed by the Agency to meet information security requirements,

• To carry out activities and training which will develop technical and behavioral competencies in order to increase information security awareness,

• To ensure the accessibility of resources in a manner that fulfils the requirements of the TS ISO/IEC 27001 ISMS standard,

• To protect the Agency’s reliability and the image of the authority it represents
